The Rose and Oil Pastel by Faber Castell

“There is nothing more difficult for a truly creative painter than to paint a rose, because before he can do so he has first to forget all the roses that were ever painted.” by Henri Matisse

Oil Pastels - This was my first time using the oil pastel paints.

How do I describe them?

They are waxy and they go on the paper like a smeary crayon.
I used short little strokes placing the colors on my page.
Then, I used my fingers and blended the colors together.
I love the way the colors blend together.

For the price I think these are great and I look forward to
using them on future art.
